Email ID Bug

I thought the email bug was fixed by Orkut..but sorry (happy for some) to tell you the bug still exist.

Here is how you can get the e-mail id of a person who has a Orkut profile

1. Start with selecting the profile whos e-mail id you want to know
2. Send the person a friend request
3. Check out friends section and you will find the persons profile will be shown as waiting for approval.
4. If you look on the right hand side you will find the head Manage Contact. In that select Export Contact
5. Now enter the Captcha.

If you dont have any further need for the person remove his/her profile from your friends list.

email disclosure in orkut

a spammer joining on orkut can get the email ids of orkut users in a variety of ways

1. Join orkut
2. Add freinds which he may seen in any communities !!!
3. now in freinds link on his profile he can see all email ids :(

Source This bug is fixed

1. Go to some random profiles which may u see in any communities !!!
2. Click ignore user
3. now u can have a list of ignored users in your gmail account with marked as blocked !!!
4. in google talk also this list will comes in blocked list
